Diners rave about the deliciously cooked slow-roast belly pork that melts in your mouth, showcasing the kitchen's talent. The airy atmosphere captivates many, making repeat visits a common trend.

Patrons often compliment the accommodating staff, especially during busy times. They make the dining experience even more enjoyable with their attentive service and warm smiles.

The extensive wine list receives praise, appealing to connoisseurs and casual drinkers alike. The beer selection is equally impressive, with a range of local brews available on draft, complementing the food perfectly.

Most Disliked

Some guests have mentioned inconsistencies in dish preparation. While many meals shine, a few have come back with minor imperfections, such as unrendered fat on steaks.

The lack of a brioche bun option for burgers received a few disappointed comments, reflecting individual preferences that may not be fully met for every diner.

While the service is generally lauded, busy peak times can lead to longer wait times for food. Planning visits during less hectic hours may enhance the overall experience.

We had the most wonderful experience at The Abode Llandudno! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and so accommodating—especially with our prams, which made a huge difference and instantly made us feel at ease. Now, let’s talk about the food… the slow roast belly pork was nothing short of phenomenal — perfectly cooked, melt-in-your-mouth tender with a crispy crackling that was absolutely divine. Easily one of the best dishes we’ve had in a long time! The atmosphere was warm and relaxed, making it the perfect spot for a casual lunch or a special treat. Thank you to the lovely team for making our visit so enjoyable — we’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend!

Gorgeous Sunday roast. We decided (from all the Sunday roasts we'd had) it was the best we've ever had. Also they boxed up a couple of things we just couldn't finish. Can't wait to come back. Thank you. (Do book as it gets busy)

What a fantastic place to have discovered before our time in Llandudno ended. So good we came back the next night. Highly recommend the roasted sweet potato, aubergine, and red pepper Malaysian curry! I had it two nights consecutively. It really is that delicious. The staff are wonderfully hospitable and warm.

Let me start by saying that I have the food 4 only because I cannot give a 4.9! This restaurant was a wonderful place for my husband and I to have our rare date night! Upon arrival the atmosphere was lovely and fun. My husband went to the bar to let the staff know that we had arrived although our table was clearly labeled, reserved and set. We didn't wait long for the waitress Tanya to arrive with our menus. She was extremely knowledgeable about the entire menu and had her own recommendations. We chose starters and main courses. My husband chose Moule Mariners and I chose the scallops. I can only apologise for not taking pictures of these starters but all I can say is that when they arrived, the most wonderful aroma came from the dishes that neither of us could wait! I was served very large scallops which were perfectly cooked. The celeriac puree was seasoned beautifully and the crispy Parma ham was absolute perfection! I combined all of the above with pea shoots and I can honestly say that they were some of the best scallops I've ever had! My husband's mussels were cleaned so well. There was no sign of any beards or any internal grit on the mussels or within the sauce. The sauce.... wow! We have enjoyed moules all across France and whilst in other countries, as well as highly renowned restaurants and, as unbelievable as it may sound, the quality of this dish is comparable to the highest quality of restaurants we have visited! I would HIGHLY recommend this dish! For our mains my husband had the 8oz steak burger. The burger and all on it were beautiful. He did say that he would have preferred a brioche bun but that is his preference. I personally prefer a plain bun. Everything else on the plate was delicious. I chose the Ribeye steak. The steak was perfectly rare, as requested. My only complaint was that there was a lot of unrendered fat but, in fairness, the chef cannot be blamed entirely for that as I did request the meat cooked rare. I also added the St Agur sauce... Mmmmm, simply delicious! We had 2 waitresses serve us. TANYA and KATIE. Both were very attentive and extremely helpful throughout our meal. They were very accommodating and nothing seemed too much, even though it was a Friday evening and there were some other larger & more demanding tables in the restaurant. The perfect example of this was when we were offered another, quieter table, away from a group of excitable men so we could enjoy our date night in peace. I felt that this was above and beyond because they had to clear another table in order to move us. I cannot praise Tanya more for her fantastic service and also Katie, for her unwaivering smile. I could not recommend this restaurant more! If you are on Llandudno and don't visit.... you'll be missing a hidden gem!

Staff were so welcoming, can tell this is a great team, not just a one off good server. Happily helpful on everything from where to sit, to what to eat and drink. Offered extra water when food was delivered, and made a great prosecco recommendation. Just a really lovely place... Can't wait to return for more. Thank you :-)

We visited The Abode for the first time on Saturday and had the best time. The staff were super friendly and accommodating to requests, the food was amazing snd unbelievable value for the price (so much that I had to post a review!). There was also a lovely atmosphere in the restaurant/bar. We were with two young kids and they brought out crayons with colouring sheets, really thoughtful! I’d highly recommend going here if you’re in Llandudno.
